Touched

We started this blog as not only a record of our foster experience for ourselves, but also to hopefully get a little exposure for the fosters. Never did we expect to find so many wonderful people. When most of your experiences with people is only falling in love with their no longer wanted dogs, it is easy to become hardened & only see the negative. By seeing what the blogville community has done in response to the Houston Pittie Pack's tragedy, our faith is not only renewed, but has far passed what it once was. We do not do many heartfelt posts, because frankly we are not good at expressing our feelings, but when this horrible event happened, it made us realize how much our blogging friends mean to us. We feel very blessed to be a part of this community & just want to express how amazing we think it is that everyone came together to help out one of their own. Thank you. XOXOXOXO Heather, Wayne & Jordan

I was similarly surprised when I got into rescue. Sure, there are horror stories but most of the people in rescue, transport, adopters, fosters, board members are wonderful; meeting so many generous people is heart-warming and now, again as you say, in blogville/blogdom.
I'm so pleased to see the results of the ChipIn and thank you for letting me know who and in what circumstances suffered this tragedy.

This was a super nice postie and we couldn't agree more! We've been blogging almost two years and every single time a blogger needs help, it's this Most Miraculous thing to watch everybuddy come together and help. We feel all sorts of proud to belong to such a great community with so many honest-to-goodness wonderful peoples - like YOU!

Well, I think that was beautifully expressed. And I share your gratitude for the love and support the blogger community offers so freely for those in need. I've been making a move from Portland to Los Angeles and was offline for many days so I've just learned the tragic news. It's practically taken my breath away.
