Sweet Gentle Topaz & First Real Food

Sweet gentle Topaz is closer to finding a forever home; she was lucky enough to catch a flight with the wonderful Pilots-n-Paws to Utah. Why did Topaz go all the way to Utah? Best Friends Animal Society was able to find a spot for her!! We are so very thankful to STAR for saving her, Pilots-n-Paws for making sure she had a ride to Utah & to Best Friends for making room for her, oh & Tin Woof Inn for giving her a place to land for a few days! Julia with STAR made the drive with Topaz (thank you thank you thank you!) to the airport in Cincinnati, OH & was able to get a few pictures of Topaz on her way.

Leaving Tin Woof Inn-LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Getting ready to start the drive

No worries Topaz, your pilot helped you out with the loud noise!

Sam the wonderful pilot who volunteers his time!

Getting ready for take off!

Once again we are very grateful to everyone involved & as always we are amazed at how everyone comes together & makes sure that whatever needs to get done is done.Just in the couple of months that Topaz stayed with us, we saw her make GREAT changes & can only imagine with all of the medical & training staff at Best Friends, she will blossom fully in no time.

Another big thing happened over the past week; the puppies started eating actual puppy food! What a mess those little cuties can make.
Mine all MINE!

Jasmine has started taking walks as opposed to just running to the yard to potty & then right back in.

And the puppies continue to wrestle & play!

The crew finally got to spend some sunny time outside!

Woohooo room to wrestle!!!

Pauley briefly considered joining a traveling motorcycle gang, but realized that he is too happy right here at home!
If any of you cat lovers out there have a Goodys store near you, check out their cat beds. We only paid $2.40 each for these & they were previously $30.00!! Our store only had 5 & we bought one for each kitty.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

You know the old saying about how it takes a village to raise a child? Well, in this case, it took a village to save a dog!
