Former Foster Friday

RED!!!!!!

That is right folks, Red is officially in his forever home :)

When Red first came to our house, he was still undergoing heart-worm treatment. From what we have read, the treatment is very painful for pups to go through, but Red was a real trooper. He never complained, but then again, he did not make a peep about anything for a LONG time. Most all of his time (except for potty breaks) was spent in a crate isolated from the rest of the dogs. Aunt Karrie was very patient with him & tried to make him as comfortable as could be. Once Red was released from crate rest, he really started to shine. He discovered what toys were & made several friends. We are so happy that we were able to be a part of Red's recovery & new life & even better that we will be able to still see him from time to time. Congratulations Red, Karrie, Chris & Indiana!! Thank you STAR for saving him!!Here is a picture of Red curled up to his sister Indiana.
