Oh Sherry

We picked up 2 new fosters last Monday. Today I am going to tell you about Sherry.
She is guessed to be 3 years old. She came into the shelter with her sister, Charlotte, who unfortunately is heart-worm positive. Charlotte had to stay in Morehead with another foster to be treated.
Sherry is calm, sweet, low energy & knows how to "sit" on command.
Right now, she is not comfortable around the other dogs. She is being kept separate, but seems very content.
When you call her name, she will stretch & then crawl to you :) Here is a video of her crawling.

Welcome Sherry!

That is so sweet, it's like she doesn't want to offend by having her head higher.

I love to see your young man with the pups. He is such a natural. The healing that he dispenses just by being himself. Beautiful. Welcome, Sherry!

Wow, Pauley, your boy does really well with the lovely Sherry - and her crawling is interesting; not submissive or fearful...hmm. Have a Merry Christmas if I don't get back before.

Very sweet - and it looks like she would like a home with a Boy!
That crawling is similar to motion they learn in dance - a down and crawl - rather than a submissive one. Very interesting.

Welcome, Sherry! She looks a little unsure of herself but I bet she will grow to be confident under your care. :)
