Lacy

Friday morning on my way to work, I dropped off Miss Lacy at our vet's office to be checked for her health certificate. She had a rescue offer & was to possibly leave that night or the next day on transport. A few minutes after I got to work, the vet's office called & I immediately became nervous. Once our vet got on the phone, she let me know right away that she was not calling with bad news. In case you did not read about Lacy previously, she came from a puppy mill where she had spent her entire 10 years of life having litter after litter after litter. Not only that, but she had been sick for sometime & no treatment was given to her by her "owner". Well, long story short, all that is over & behind her, because our vet has ADOPTED Lacy!!!!!!!!!! We are over the moon :) Lacy's life is going to be better than she could have ever dreamed. Thank you STAR for making sure this girl got the chance to find her happy every after & thank you to Dr. Nance & family for seeing what a special lady that Lacy is.

What is that over there?

Wow - that is just awesome! Who could ask for more than to send a foster to your very own trusted veterinarian. That was so fast. And now you don't even have to worry that she's getting the care she needs.

Good girl, Lacy. And all the best in your very own new forever home.
