Sami
We are often surprised by the turn of events that happen during the course of fostering dogs. Sometimes we are surprised at how little time we foster a dog before they are adopted or accepted into rescue and then sometimes we are surprised at how long we keep a dog before their time comes along. Sami is one of the latter. We can’t understand it. When we picked up Sami & saw how little & cute she was, we thought we would not have her any time before she found a home of her own. We were mistaken. Sami has been with us for almost 4 months! What is it that is keeping ANYONE from even asking about her? Is it the fact that she is a black dog? Is it that she looks bigger in pictures than what she actually is? Who knows, but until the right rescue or family comes along, we will keep her right here with us.

She's very cute! Big ears & lil body! Adorable! Hope she finds a home soon!
I think she kinda looks like Havi with bigger ears!
oh I am so in love with her ears, such a sweet face!
She is so cute! We always thought SuperLevi would go really fast...but he was with us the longest. And we thought older Bessie Belle would take a long time, and she flew out the door. I think seeing her in proportion to 'the boy' helps, or maybe a video? It is so hard to show the black dogs. But I'll be happy to see her around the blog.
Those ears are just amazing
Stop on by for a visit

Those ears would probably hear everything in your zip code.
Wow- she is small!! I wouldn't have guessed how little she was. I love those bunny ears- good luck Sami!
Sami sure have big ears!
She is adorable!
I know you will find the perfect family for her!
Kisses and hugs

I can't believe she's still with you! With a face like that

My Nikki was like this. She was in foster care for four months before we got her. She is the perfect dog, but she didn't show well because she's shy and laid back and it looked like she didn't have a good personality. She too is a black dog. I'm so glad she was passed over so many times because we ended up with her. Sometimes I think a potential adopter should ask which dogs have been in foster care the longest because they're often super awesome dogs.
Certain qualities in Sami remind me of my Braylon sometimes! I know the black dog thing is so odd, and also it's funny how pictures can make dogs look MUCH bigger than they actually are. She is truly adorable. Sami's family just isn't ready for her yet. :)
Oh my dog, the picture of her kissing the boy is THE BEST! And you're right, I didn't realize she was so tiny. Oh, but her cuteness is massive!
Just shared Sami's Petfinder profile on FB!
