So is everybody ready for the good news???!!! My best buddy,
Ciera, is leaving for her very OWN home tonight!!!! She is going to travel
all of the way from KY to the New England area!! The Mrs. was so happy for her
that she cried! The family has been told all about Ciera and how she is afraid
of strangers & they are going to give her all of the time, space & love
that she needs in order to feel comfortable.
Wonder if they have room for one more? I am only
kidding, because I know that they do have room for one more; they are
adopting one of Shirley’s pups!! Now how is that for good news?

Wait!! I am not done yet; Coconut is also leaving on the
same transport! What you say,? Coconut is already leaving? Yep, she is going to
a wonderful rescue in the New England area. I KNOW you are thinking that it
does not get any better than this, but it does!!!
Mariah and all five of her *pups are going to a rescue up there too!!!!!!!!!
So I bet you are thinking I will be awfully lonely here without my buddy, but someone is coming back to us & her name rhymes with girlie. That is right, Shirley will be here tonight!

Pauley James, I have a feeling you will never be lonely - even if Shirley wasn't coming back, it wouldn't be long before another potential dogfriend would arrive.

OMD!!! Stumpy and I are seriously overwhelmed by all the comments and positive responses to Willie's rescue.
I just want everyone to know that Stumpy and I were merely pawns in this rescue. The real thanks goes to Mayzie's Grampa J who directed Willie's rescue, The Briard network who ran to the rescue and to the Angel Lady who stepped up to the plate.
I know each and every one of us do whatever we can to support the animals, the rescues and each other in our quest to make the world a better place. Each little miracle is the direct result of like minded people doing what they can do.

That is such great news! Which rescue are they going to? I live in NH, and have 2 people in the process of finding the right pup to adopt- I can send them that way if it isn't too far!
