We are taking this opportunity to introduce you to our new
foster, Coconut! She has been in a
foster home since the end of May and as sometimes happens, due to a change of
circumstances, Coconut needed a new foster home. We have only had her since
Thursday, but could tell right away, that she is our kind of girl. Coconut’s
former foster home deeply love this girl & nursed her during her recovery
from severe mange (she had NO hair on her body!!). She has grown most of her
hair back in & is doing great. Coconut is understandably confused as to why
she is no longer sleeping with the "people" & why she is no longer riding
shot gun during the daily running of errands (baby girl had it MADE), but as most of you know, our
circumstances do not permit that right now. She is a people loving dog though
& has spent a few days crying (heartbreakingly quietly) & as soon as we
let her in the house or go to the “foster house” to spend time with her, she
will climb right in our laps & go to sleep. She is also a playful girl & has raced up and down the fence line
playing chase with Ciera ( doing slow introductions to each other).
She adores
stuffed animals & will play fetch with them as long as you can stand it.
Much unlike our Pauley, she will actually bring the toy back to you & drop
it at your feet. She is up to date on her shots, altered, house & crate
trained. She does EXCELLENT on a leash (again unlike our beloved Pauley)! She
LOVES LOVES LOVES all people & is eagerly waiting to be someone’s sidekick
again. If you or someone you know may be interested in Coconut, please contact weedlekitty@yahoo.com for more information. Transport is available. Please remember to check out all the other Rescue Me Week entries at Mayzie's Dog Blog !

Oh she is absolutely adorable! So sad her former fosters couldn't keep her. I would love to have her, if only I could. :( Gosh, I sure hope she finds a home.
She is so completely gorgeous!
She deserves a good home and we're sure she will find one.
What a cutie!

Coconut is just so cute. And who can resist a natural retriever? That is one skill I wish my dog had. With luck, she'll get adopted right quick!
Ohhhhhh...I luvs her! She has the sweetest little smoosh-face. My paws are crossed that she finds a home real soon where she'll be treated like the princess she Most Obviously is!
Wiggles & WAgs,
Mayzie
PeeS. I don't understand...she brings the toy BACK to you?
Coconut is so beautiful! Her first foster home did wonders for her and now she's scored again with a stay with your family!
