Introducing Phoebe & Welcome Back Shirley!

We originally were going to get a little cattle dog mix named Blue Belle, but lucky for Blue Belle, she got rescue the day we were to get her. So instead we got a little girl that we named Phoebe.

All that we know is that she is a stray that found her way to the shelter & she is ready to give birth ANY DAY! She is around 35 pounds; scared of a leash & loves to give kisses.
We tried to get full body pictures of her, but she just wanted to curl up with the boy on the love seat.
We also welcomed back Shirley who had been with a temporary foster.
It has been interesting to see the changes in Shirley now that her puppies are no longer with her. She is much more playful & happy.
We expect to be busy with puppies soon & probably will not post until after Thanksgiving. We hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family, friends & food. The Foster Family

I love the photo of Shirley running with her ears at full mast. She looks so happy.

Here's wishing Phoebe a safe and easy delivery of healthy pups, but not too many of them. Rather you than me!
