Thank you Meja for offering your assistance, but I must be truthful; I broke the crate. Not only did I break it, but when it was temporarily fixed so that the grouchy old ladies could still lay in it, I broke it AGAIN! The temptation to be weightless was just too much for me.I have gained 5 pounds & it is not even winter yet! If I keep this up, I may have to go on what is called a diet. Those first three letters scare me! Do not worry though, I did not get into any trouble at all; I just have to settle for laying on the Mrs. shoulder now that the crate is broken.
Speaking of which, does anyone have any experience with building bunk beds for pups? Enjoy your Thursday!

XOXOXO
Pauley James

Crates are meant to be broken. Now bunk beds sound like a good idea.

The karunda style beds are super easy to make into bunk beds for pets, the only trick is to find a PVC angle that will work for it. But, if you can find that angle or order it online, PVC pet beds are super simple to make, and cheap too. Though, I would possibly add extra supports for the bed versus just in the corners, since your pups are on the heavy side.

K-Koira, I am printing out directions for this type of bed right now. Thank you!

Pauley James - you're BRILLIANT! I never thought abouts laying on TOP of my crate. I thought it was for laying IN. You're so smart. In fact, I think you should get EXTRA treatsies for being so smart. Yes...I said EXTRA treatsies.

Mayzie

I bet everyone forgives you. How about a really big, soft pillow instead?
