Ciara's First Trip to the Lake

Well, I finally got to go to the lake that Pauley had been raving about. Wow, it sure was a lot of water. Other that having a bath, I do not have much experience with water.



WHEW! That sure was COLD! I just ran through as fast as I could. I think the water is a LITTLE scary...

What's with Pauley? He acts like he is a fish. What is so great about this lake?


As you can see, he is swimming in the water and I am running in the water. Maybe I need a lesson?

Check out Pauley's swimming skills! I am always worried when he swims out really far--but, I am sure happy to tell him hello when he comes back to shore!

Just look at him go! I am much happier watching him swim than I am in trying it myself.

I really wish he would stop for a bit! I would like to just sit and relax. He loves to get out there and splash and bite at the water. What a goof!!!

It is nice being out here on such a hot day. I am content with getting just a little water on me. While I may not be a fan of swimming, I am starting to enjoy watching Pauley be such a dog-frog! All his frantic splashing sure makes a girl tired!

I love sitting for a bit and running BESIDE the water, too. That is enough excitement for me today.

Jeepers-creepers!! What a day! We are both pretty pooped. I love seeing my friend Pauley have such a blast and I have to admit that I had a fantastic time myself...Maybe next time, the family will have a picnic!!! Now, that's an idea that I can get behind!
