On Saturday we took a trip. Only Annie & I got to go. Normally, I would think that we were going to the vet, but Annie seemed too happy for that. When we got there, I still could not figure out where we were.
We walked down a long path with tall grass! Each step we took, bugs would fly out. I even got to chase a butterfly!
The next thing you know, Annie is in the water!!I was a little afraid until Annie came back & walked in with me.Once I got in, there was no stopping me!
My favorite thing to do was to gracefully swim out then suddenly shoot myself up out of the water & make little waves to bite at!
After about an hour, we were told that it was time to go home. Even our sad faces could not convince them to stay any longer. Truth be told though, I was pretty tired.
When we got home, I mostly lazed around with the boy.
We even got in a couple of naps.
And now on to more important things. Here is RED!! He has almost been here a week. The first day he was very scared, but he has slowly started relaxing. Remember,I am getting this information second hand, because he is not supposed to get excited while going through the heartworm treatment. I am all about excitement & can't wait until he is healthy & ready to play! The Mrs. will stop by sometime soon & tell you all about him.

What a great day! You are such a lucky doggie!
LOVE your swimming pics Pauley! You are a super splasher and Annie looks like a professional paddler - she looked so adorable in the shot of her walking on the shoreline!
You and the boy have some serious napping skills - you could win some sort of synchronized sleeping competition!
I bet Red is really looking forward to getting to hang out with you all. I'm sure he's not feeling so hot right now and it's always nice to have something to look forward to when you're not feeling well. He sure is handsome ... oh, those eyes! Do you think Annie will like him?!

Seeing Pauley James' face always makes me smile - he is just so... happy to look at. I'm glad he liked the water - that is the one funny thing about Sam, as much as he dislikes water he loves the lake!
Sending healing vibes to Red!
Sam
