My First Friend

When I first came to my foster home, I had been at the local shelter for more than a month. I was not used to being close to other dogs. The other fosters that were here at the time were not interested in me & stayed off to themselves. After a few weeks a new foster came named Piper. She was a cutie who was always on the move. She kept running up to me & nudging me & I was scared. I thought she was going to eat me or something. After a few weeks, I realized that she was trying to PLAY with me! Once I realized how it worked, I had a great time. We would play so much that we would be exhausted. A few times we were so tired that we would lay down & try to wrestle without moving too much. Boy it was fun! I wish I had realized what playing was like sooner. Piper got accepted into a place in New York and she left after about a month and a half. Now there is just me & the two old ladies ( I say old ladies with much love).

You do look like a good pair. I think it's good you learned about playing, maybe you'll have another friend that you'll be able to play with too.

Mommy has squealed in utter crazy and we want to try and convince daddy that I need a brudder :) You are a lot like me- I don't bark either and I LOVE to play!
